An electronic mailing list for international atmospheric science librarians.
The ASLI email list is for the
discussion of issues relating to international atmospheric science librarianship. ASLI is specifically aimed toward librarians and library
staff from around the world involved in atmospheric sciences, but anyone is
welcome to join the discussion.
The ASLI list is hosted by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Central Library. The software program Majordomo 1.94.4 is used to provide an
automated method for persons to subscribe, unsubscribe, etc.
Questions about ASLI may be directed to the ASLI
webmaster.
The mailing list manager for ASLI is Majordomo 1.94.4. Majordomo is
an automated system which allows users to
subscribe and unsubscribe to mailing lists,
and to retrieve files from list archives.
You can interact with the Majordomo software
by sending it commands in the body of mail
messages addressed to "listserv@www.lib.noaa.gov".
Please do not put your commands on the subject
line; Majordomo does not process commands
in the subject line. You may put multiple
Majordomo commands in the same mail message.
Put each command on a line by itself. The
basic commands are:
TO SUBSCRIBE:
Send the message "subscribe asli" to listserv@www.lib.noaa.gov
TO UNSUBSCRIBE:
Send the message "unsubscribe asli" to listserv@www.lib.noaa.gov
TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISCUSSION:
(**Note: Only list subscribers may post messages to the list. Messages must also come from the email address with which they are subscribed.)
