2012 ASLI Choice Awards Winners

The eighth annual ASLI Choice Awards presentation takes place in Austin, TX during the AMS 93nd Annual Meeting on Wed. Jan. 09, 2013 at 16:45 at the ASLI booth (#936) in the Exhibit Hall.

ASLI’s Choice Committee had the difficult task of reviewing the 2012 nominations to select winners for this year based on ASLI’s Choice nine criteria (slightly modified). The various nominated titles this year represented offerings from over 31 publishers.  Besides the main science award with one honorable mention, we have this year a new category – Reference (with an honorable mention) and an unusual selection for the Popular category – honoring a series instead of just one book. We also have a History category with three honorable mentions. For ASLI’s Choice 2012 – we have a total of 8 books and a series.
